Lindsay Waldrop (she/her/hers) earned a bachelor of science in biology with a minor in physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently an assistant professor in the Schmid College of Science and Technology at Chapman University in Orange, CA. Her research program focuses on fluid-structure interactions in biology, including odor capture by aquatic and terrestrial insects and crustaceans and odor detection by domestic dogs. She also competes in nose work with her dogs.
