Jeremy was hired by the San Diego Sheriff’s Department in January 2010 and have been employed there since. He has held the following assignments: Detentions, Courts, Patrol, Field Training Officer, Corporal, Sheriff’s Analysis Driven Law Enforcement, and Crime Suppression Team.
Jeremy is currently assigned as a K9 Handler with his partner K9 “Milo” at the San Diego Sheriff’s Department’s Border Crime Suppression Team, which is a task force comprised of Sheriff’s Detectives, Homeland Security Special Agents and Border Patrol Agents. The team’s mission is to disrupt, dismantle and defeat cross border criminal organizations within the County of San Diego. As a detective assigned to this team, Jeremy’s daily mission is to conduct international drug smuggling investigations. He specializes in highway interdiction and partnering with outside agencies who request enforcement action. He is a court recognized expert witness for drug smuggling and drug trafficking organizations.
